July 1 Sketch and Moodboard Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to another installment of Let's Get Sketchy!  This week we have another great sketch for you along with a mood board to commemorate the upcoming holiday! Please use the sketch AND board to create your beautiful piece of art!

Joining us this month as a guest designer is the talented Helen Mazengarb.
Here is what Helen had to say about herself:

Hi, my name is Helen and I’m a scrapaholic! I have been addicted since 2002 when I first got introduced to this wonderful hobby. My style has changed dramatically since those days, however, my current style is difficult to define because it depends on my mood. I like to create messy mixed media backgrounds, clean and simple layouts and layered patterned paper pages; it really depends on the photo, the supplies I want to use and the emotion I feel at the time. In my craft room I scrapbook, make cards, create mixed media canvases, art journal and paint abstract paintings. Really, I enjoy anything that feeds my creativity. By day I am a West Australian primary school teacher and by night a single mother to teenage twin boys. I love sharing my projects and hope that people find some inspiration from what I create.  My blog address is:  http://helenmazengarb.blogspot.com.au/
Check out Helen's beautiful take on the sketch and mood board:
